Canford Classics are pleased to be selling this original RHD 1968 911 T on behalf of the owner. This is an original matching numbers car with just 76k miles from new, re-painted its original colour and also has a comprehensive history file including the original owner’s manual. The car was originally sold to Mr J Crowther of the 17/7/1968 plus all subsequent owners and dates are listed. Previously owned by another Porsche restorer this 911 underwent a comprehensive restoration, including an engine and gearbox rebuild during which time the engine was built into S spec. This is documented in the history file and was completed approx 3k miles ago. The body is also in very good condition as is all the trim and mechanics. The interior is again restored and fitted with recaro replica sport seats, the original seats are in storage and will be sold with the car.

This SWB 911 is a real pleasure to drive, the engine is strong and the gearbox smooth, (the gearbox is a 5 speed). As the suspension is refurbished this 911 handles very well and planted into the corners the front and rear ARB keep the car stable. Again the brakes were also refurbished during the restoreation and front upgraded to vented discs and calipers.
