This RHD 2.2S is my own car and has undergone a full restoration. The car was in very poor condition when I bought it after being caught in a workshop fire, filled with water then left outside rotting away for some time.

Anyway I am sucker for these early cars and hence a full restoration has begun. Quite simply I have done everything possible to this car. The shell was stripped out and after media blasting not much remained. The body work was undertaken by Barry Carter and his level of craftsmanship is clearly apparent.  I am sure many would not have bothered or wonder why but I am very happy we have saved another early 911, especially one as rare as a RHD 2.2S.  This car also has a very interesting history in that it left the production line just before another metallic silver RHD 2.2S, thus it has a twin. The amazing thing is that I also had that car. The car is now finished and road legal, the remaining jobs are suspension set up, running the engine in correctly and the final tuning on a rolling road. Upon completion to the car will be up for sale….    for sale here
