Canford Classics have for sale one of the most desirable early 911′s made,  a 1972 2.4 911S (LHD) in its original colour Metallic Silver. Built May 1972 this 911 S was original sold in the USA. The owner of the car has informed us that there is a the history file which also contains original sales documentation and subsequent history within the US and also after the car was imported. Most importantly this is a matching numbers car, thus the original engine is present and correct, as is the correct 1972 oil tank and the 1972 S specific system (oil lines and front oil cooler), again these are present and correct. The engine has driven this car through 108,000 miles and just undergone a rebuild. During its time with us at Canford Classics we have fitted a pair of Deser Recaro Sport seats, a new headliner, plus fitted a new set of 185/70 XWX tires, new front and rear indictor lenses have been fitted plus the rear brake calipers have been rebuilt and fitted with new discs and pads.
