We are pleased to be selling on behalf of the owner this original viper green 1972 2.4 911 S. One of the most sought after early 911s this 911 was used as a race car in it’s past. During this time the rear wings were flared using original steel RS wings, 7 and 8 inch fuchs added, front and rear fiberglass bumper fitted and  the engine has also been rebuilt into a 2.9 ltr, built around replacement 7R cases but using the original 2.4S mechanical fuel injection. The original engine cases are also available, thus if rebuilt the car could be returned to a matching numbered 2.4 911S.

The interior was set up for racing, thus race seats and cage etc, but Canford Classics are returning this to a touring spec. We will be fitting a new headliner, new carpets (RS lightweight version), removing the cage etc, fitting new Recaro sport seats in black vinyl with hounds-tooth inserts, new seat belts, new RS door cards. We have also just  fitted a full new clutch to the car and serviced the engine.

Why not buy the car now and use as a great fun pre 73 911S, or invest some more funds and return this rare 2.4S back to its true spec. Either way this is a great opportunitly to buy a 2.4S in a great colour- Viper Green.
