Porsche 1971 LHD 911 (SOLD)

NOW SOLD- 1971 Porsche 911 T LHD. I imported this car myself from the US in 2003, and during that time I have done a lot of work on the car. During the 8 years I have had this car it has done just 3,200 miles in total. I originally built a 3.2 ltr motor for it and did 1 track day in the car. That motor was removed to go in my race car and thus we fully rebuilt a 2.2E motor and gearbox for this car. This has done zero miles and will be correctly run in and tuned on a rolling road, all paper work will be supplied. I have the original long block engine for the car and the engine cases can be supplied. If required I could rebuild the original engine and fit that, but the 2.2 E motor is a strong motor. It has a rebuilt pump and throttle bodies, new exhaust, SSI heat exchangers, hydraulic tensioners, turbo covers, fully detailed, oil mods, and rebuilt etc To see it running click here.

The gear box has also just been rebuilt.
The car did have some small areas of bodywork completed in the US. We applied some fresh clear coat about 4 years ago but bar that it is untouched. All panels bar the front bumper (S spec), window frames etc are the originals to the car and it is its original colour- factory silver 8080, factory sunroof, S appearance spe, tinted glass, leather steering wheel, deep 6 fuchs,

While the motor and gear box were out we completely stripped the suspension and braking system. All is refurbed, all new bearings, all painted/powder coated, all new brake and fuel lines, rebuilt calipers x 4, all new discs shoes and pads, new ball joints, turbo steering rods, new drive shafts, new front and rear shocks, ally trailing arms and front cross bar, all new suspension bushes, new tires, new wheel nuts.

During my ownership, we also completely restored the interior of the car. It has original  factory Recaro sport speats, which we trimmed in leather, we also re-trimmed the rear seats in leather, new headliner, new salt and pepper carpet, etc.

I am sure I have missed lots of other things, such as a new fuel tank, upgraded front and rear anti roll bars, new inertia seat belts..

Even with all this, this is not a fully restored car and is not being sold as one and this is reflected in the price. I do have lots of pics of the car and all the history since I have owned it plus some from when in the US such as the title, bill of sale. There are a few jobs to finish which will be completed within a few weeks, mainly setting up the suspension geometry and tunning the engine on a rolling road.
