Canford Classiscs has had a very nice RHD 1973 911 S in for minor works. The main job is to strip and rebuild the MFI throttle bodies which are worn in the shafts and bore. These will be fully stripped and refurbished (click here for more info on this process). Other minor works include installing our correct engine bay stickers, detailing the fuch wheels correctly, plus installing the correct nuts/bolts and screws which have been incorrectly changed over the years.
The throttle bodies are now finished and re-installed onto the car. Fitted with a new set of Canford Classics throttle rods and some new pipe/HT lead seperators. All works now complete the car has returned to the owner whom has owned this car for 25 years!
This 2.4S has now been to Bob Watson Engineering whom tested the car on a rolling road with a healthy 192 bhp. Since then Canford Classics have fitted one of our new fan shrouds, fitted new door pockets , refurbished the recaro seat tilting frames and fitted new rear indicator units.
