For anyone having the A post changed during the restoration they know that the panel available from Porsche is different from the original. The main difference is in the shape, the position of the door light switch and the missing pressing “M 8″ which is very hard to replicate. Working with some close friends Canford Classics have had these items remade. We can replicate the shape and the pressings on new A posts from Porsche and will soon sell new A posts with these modifications already done. We can alsp supply just the pressing if required. Canford Classics can now supply new SWB engine lid grills. We already stock brand new LWB versions so with the launch of the SWB type we can offer you a brand new grill whether your car is long (1968-) or short wheel base (-1968)

Our local Official Porsche Centre used our 911 ST in the show room over the Christmas period. It was a great opportunely to take some snaps of the car. Canford Classics would also like to thank Bournemouth OPC whom we work closely with. For more info and pictures of this ST click here

Canford Classics have just finished anodising a batch of new RHD 1969-1973 dash trims. (These have been done for a good friend whom makes these items). We will be selling these in the UK and the first batch are almost finished.  Canford Classics can also trim these for you and thus send you new dash trims ready to install. I will be updating the website once fully finished. Price to be confirmed.

Canford Classics recently purchased a bahia red 2.4T that will be fully restored to a very high standard. Besides rust in all the usual places, standard for a UK RHD car, it is actually in very good condition. Canford Classics already make and sell the only truly correct engine bay decals on the market for 69-73 cars. We have now almost finished the SWB 66-early69 decals which differ in that the boarder should be red. Again these will be the only correct decals available.  All 66-73 cars (unless fully original) would benefit from one of these decal sets. Even new ones from Porsche are not correct for out pre 73 cars and the SWB versions have not been available for years. The 69-73 versions are for sale here.  Red frame decals available soon.

Canford Classics are delighted to offer parts for sale made by Eric Linden in the US. These include correctly shaped exhaust muffler tips, 1967 S door trigger caps, hounds tooth material and the rubber surrounds used on the dash mounted switches.
